Top 10 Bozeman outdoor patios

There’s nothing quite like sipping a cold one under the summer sun.  Outdoor patios have a certain charm to them that just can’t be matched to the dimly, lit restaurant.  Whether it is people-watching on Main Street or enjoying a local brew  with some friends, patios are definitely the way to go in the summer.

1. MAP

By far, MAP Brewing is my favorite in the way of sitting areas.  You can enjoy your IPA and nachos on the patio looking over Bozeman Beach and the Bridgers.  It just really doesn’t get much better than that.

2. Montana Ale Works

Ale Works has frequented our blogs about best bites in Bozeman, but it also deserves a shout out for a great patio.  It is a frequenter of the locals and is a great place to sit and watch the hustle and bustle of Main, while not feeling completely overwhelmed.

If you are into people all around you and the city-life feel, this is a great patio in which to sit out.  It is located in front of the Baxter Hotel and has lots of people traffic to enjoy.  If you want a more peaceful experience, head to the back patio with lots of shade and greenery providing you with the tranquil dining experience.

4. Dave's Sushi- off main

Dave’s Sushi has a wide variety of options and is a great place to grab some friends and sit outside.

5. Feed Cafe

If a picnic blanket on the lawn is more your thing, stop by Feed for lunch and enjoy your meal outside the big red barn on Main Street.

6. South 9th Bistro

This bistro continuously gets raving reviews on Tripadvisor for their great service and delectable food. Combine that with a relaxing patio, and you have it all!

This grille is located in the Gallatin Valley Mall.  Enjoy your French onion soup or shrimp wantons on the nice outdoor patio with bright green chairs and globe string lights hanging above.

8. Starky’s Authentic americana

Enjoy ALL NIGHT HAPPY HOUR every Tuesday Evening from 4-9pm out on their beautiful patio.

9. Rocking R Bar

This bar is always a bustling place.  Enjoy a seat outside while still being able to sneak peaks of the big game on their flat-screen TV's.  Check their calendar before you go as they always have fun game nights and happy hours.

10. Bridger Brewing

Bridger Brewing has a deck that overlooks MSU’s campus and allows great views of the Bridgers.  Grab a reasonably-priced slice of pizza and coffee stout, and enjoy it under the beautiful, summer sun.
